CFVSAR supports the efforts of the ADVENTURESMART Program.

HUG A TREE and SURVIVE OUTSIDE:

If you live within the City of Abbotsford, City or Township of Langley, or Electoral Area “H” (Sumas Mtn.), the volunteers of the Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue Society would be pleased to present the Hug A Tree and Survive program to your school, or organization. To learn more about the program,  click on the Hug A Tree photo below.

The program is aimed at children 5-12 years of age and is an exciting and fun way to teach valuable skills. To schedule a presentation please either email us via our contact page or call us at 604-852-7271.

Please try to give as much notice as you can. If your group is interested (and is reasonably sized) we can offer tours of our Building and equipment along with the Hug A Tree program. We can also come to you, all we need is a television and a DVD player.
